A Depiction of Caesar's Death

In 44 BCE, Caesar declared himself dictator for life.  This act made the Senate fear him and they decided the only solution was to kill Caesar.  When Caesar called a meeting with the Senate, they decided this would be the perfect time to strike.  When Caesar entered the room, those who were involved stood nearest to him.  The men took out their daggers and everyone, all 35, stabbed him until he died.  Caesar died on the Ides of March of those wounds.
